C Flaps on Batting Helmets

Weston Baseball requires all players in the Rookie Prep Division and older to have a "C Flap" on all batting helmets. This is an increased safety measure to better protect the players while at bat. 

The "C Flap" is a protective extension attached to the ear flap of the helmet to provide additional protection to the check and jaw. It can be purchased online or at a local sports store for around $15. There is no need to purchase a new helmet, as most can have the attachment added. 

Players not in compliance with this rule will be prohibited from facing live pitching in games or practices.
