Evaluations Required*

The Minors division continues to build and refine fundamental skills while beginning to understand game strategy. Players continue to develop pitching and are introduced to base stealing and the infield fly rule. The pitcher's mound will be 46 feet from home plate and the bases will be 60 feet apart. Teams will be selected via a player draft and the regular season will culminate with a single elimination playoff.

In the Spring there will be two games per and  two practices per week. In the Fall there will be two games and one practice per week. Practices are run by professional development coaches assisted by volunteer coaches.

Games may include playing neighboring towns including Bethel and/or Redding/Easton and will be played either in Weston or those towns.

*Evaluations are required for Spring House baseball for all players in the minors. A Spring "Travel" baseball option will be offered for players looking for an advanced and highly competitive game. Players will be selected to these teams based on their interest and evaluations. Anyone playing travel baseball will be required to play in the house league. NOTE: Attendance at evaluations is mandatory for any player interested in playing Spring Travel or Summer District baseball. NO EXCEPTIONS.
